Bright or what !
The engine lights were three 11000MCD white LED's mounted at one end of three plasticard conical tubes which,
about 2 inches long, were lined with the redoutable self adhesive foil tape.
Just to make sure it was as bright as it should be, one small x2 magnifying glass was placed
at the business end of each tube.
Net result...well you can see for yourself.

Under no circumstances would it be wise to look directly into that with the naked eye.
If you want an idea of how bright, imaging looking into a car headlamp on full beam
and it almost as bright as that.
I couldn't get a pic exactly from the rear, all i could see in the camera screen was a bright blob of light and
that was it no matter what i did with the exposure.
