The why is simple.
A big Enterprise and to find out if a few lighting ideas i had were going to work,
so call this a test case rather than a full on scale model.
It wasn't a bad kit to begin with so that helped.
The construction was fairly straight forward, scrap the interior detail parts
and remove anything from the inside that would block any lighting.
