Model Build Commission Terms And Conditions

If you are interested in having a model built to your specifications then please read and understand the terms below:
(1)
The cost of any commission will be worked out on a full price quote dependant on the model being built.
That is to say if it is a commercial kit for example then a straight forward build and finish will be a single costing quote
if no after market extra items have to be brought in or scratchbuilt modifications at client request.
(2)
Modifications fall into the category of lighting, electronics, mechanical additions and
likewise alterations at customer request to commercial kits/models will be additional, costs will be calculated and
listed to inform the client of available options.
(3)
Scratchbuilt models will be a one costing quote after all details have been agreed to between myself and the client.
(4)
No build/work commission will become a final binding agreement untill a first payment of 50% has been tendered to myself by the client.
Buy this, it will be taken that the client has committed to the final price and accepts responsibility to make payment of the balance upon Item(s) completion.
It also will be taken that I have a binding agreement to complete the work to client satisfaction and specifications.

Payment Or Work Completion Defaulting
Unless for sound and good reasons, any default of final balance payment by the client will result
in the model and the 50% deposit remaining the property of myself untill final payment of any outstanding monies has been made.

Unless an equitable agreement can be reached within an acceptable timeframe, failure to pay the balance of monies will result in the agreement between
client and self will be considered null and void. Item(s) and deposits paid will remain my property.

If for any reason I am unable to complete the work, any monies paid for an item(s) will be refunded in full.
Any reasonable client dissatisfaction with the finished work will be rectified free of charge.
If this cannot be done then all monies paid will be refunded in full and the item will remain my property.
(6)
If a 'deadline' , a specific time of completion and delivery is agreed to, then this will be taken to be a condition unbreakable by both myself and the client.
(7)
I hereby state that any item(s) made by myself will be made fit for purpose stated by client but
i offer no guarantees beyond useage stated in build specifications.
Any third party manufactured items, i.e. electronic/mechanical units built in whole by other parties and regardless of origin, that are used in construction/final finished item are exempt from the above statement
(8)
Build records/work in progress details in the manner of photos and text will, on request
be supplied to the client by either web display or hard copy, i reserve the right to place these
on my website for public viewing unless reasonably requested otherwise by the client.
Client identity will remain confidential.
(9)
Acceptance of both myself and a client of an agreed task of work will indicate an acceptance and
unconditional adherance to the above stated terms and conditions unless by prior agreement.

Any other major agreements outside of the above stated terms and conditions will be made in writing and signed up to by both parties.
