Wood planked over formers ala boatbuilding techniques.
No real interior was asked for or lighting so on the basis of the Aurora one and some
fan produced plans i had picked up, this beastie got built.
The only thing that took some thought was the 'intake' and exhaust grilles.
Decided on cutting up many short lengths of alloy pipe, sticking them
together on one plate, coat with epoxy glue and literally skim one side untill i was left with a grid of nice neat holes.
I coulda just drilled out some perspex of something but i can imagine
that one hole out of line would ruin the whole thing,
which is usually how things go so i decided to side step that posibillity.
