The wings and tail were made from wood.
The canopy was vacformed over a wood carving,
a second vacforming in clear was made to fit inside the first.
The backplate was in the kit but that got dumped and a better detailed one made.
The chrome engines were just lengths of pipe, spun and the ridges filed
into them then covered with self adhesive foil tape.
What appears to be the rear engine exhaust rings was just the plastic patterned end of a reel of plumbers solder pushed into
Playdoh then resin poured in and repeat, clean up, paint and install.
