So i asked if he could get me some of this stuff, he duly turned up with about 5 square yards on a roll.
Gotta love the mooch factor.
Anyways, after having a play about with it, it looked like leather but i dunno what it was exactly.
The material backing, as i found out could be removed and i gave it a try.
With some gruntwork it did indeed come away and
what i was left with was a thin and flexible material that had a leather look
but fine enough to pass off in scale...
