One side done so i'm...
Going Top Side.
Rightyho then. Next job was the top side scrape down. Same again with the gap on the front and a complete clean off of 'ahem' detail parts.
The parts of the canopy frame likewise as the frame and clear canopy will be made as seperate parts.
After much plasticard pandemonium and brass wire bending, i have the fresh detail parts ready for placement.
The teardrop part is one of the original bits deemed fit for use.
And so to sticking them on.

A lick of the lovely primer stuff and we get...

Sorted!
But wait, still the pinvise stuff to do!!
And so i did as well as some lightweight surface detail to the rear cockpit fairing.
it just looked a bit bare to me so some rough repair look-a-like plating was added.
It's quite thin so that's easily kept or covered when it comes to whoever builds the kit.
I do like to give my customers the option.

Now we gettin' somewhere.

Ok, just a quick test fit, the parts now sit well with minimal gapping between top and bottom then can be sorted with just a light squeeze.
Some basic detailing on the inset side parts, and just a little clear up of the joint to deal with but the top and bottom parts pretty much delt with.
Not bad for just a wee bit short of 1 week expended on this thing.

And enough is enough for now with the outside main parts while i go to work on the detail parts, more to come so if ya really bored, see you next update.
Go easy you merry lot!
